Director of Operations Kristy is our Director of Operations. She has worked for Michaud Periodontics since 2008. Prior to that, in 2000 she began working with our previous practice owner, Dr. Levine, where she began as his surgical assistant, then later his office manager. She loves working in the dental field and strives to remain current in her knowledge of new dental technology. Kristy tries to make every patient feel comfortable, welcome, and well informed at our office. Kristy grew up in Clearwater and attended Clearwater High School. She attended St. Petersburg College and became a Certified Dental Assistant in 2000. She is married and has two children, Eric and Emma. She enjoys boating, watching her son compete in motorcross, and relaxing with her family. |

Insurance Coordinator Raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, Christen relocated to the Tampa Bay area in 2004 and has been a team member ever since. A graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey, she attained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. She plans to further her education by pursuing an MBA in the near future. As the Insurance Coordinator of the group, she would be more than happy to assist you with any insurance related questions and concerns you may have. On her down time, you will likely find Christen at the beach enjoying the beautiful Florida weather, attending live music shows, or at Busch Gardens with her son, Logan. If it were up to Logan, however, she'd be at Chuck E Cheese everyday. |

Registered Dental Hygienist Joey graduated in 1994 from Palm Beach Community College with a certificate in Dental Assisting. Her interest was and has always been in surgery. She was fortunate to have worked in an oral surgery office in Boca Raton, where she performed many different types of surgeries, including orthognathics and dental implants.
While working, she completed her pre-requisite courses for dental hygiene. In 2000, Joey graduated from Palm Beach State College with an Associate in Science in Dental Hygiene. Once graduated, she was able to fulfill her passion for surgery, while being employed with the Florida Institute for Periodontics & Dental Implants in Boca Raton. As a member of this all hygienist surgical team, she was furthermore exposed to high end surgical procedures, and acquired a thorough knowledge of comprehensive treatment planning.
It was there, that she met Dr. Michaud, in his first year of dental school at Boston University, enrolled in their externship program. During Dr. Michaud's periodontal residency at the University of Texas, San Antonio, she worked as a Dental Implant Coordinator in a private periodontal practice. Joey and Rob live in New Tampa with their two sons, Cole and Austin, and two dogs, Sassy and Bleu. |
